Seramik Üretimi İçin Çamur Dökümü

Ön biçimlendirmede kullanılan en eski yöntemlerden biri olan bu yöntem, genellikle banyo malzemeleri (sağlık gereçleri), yemek takımları ve porselen (sofra eşyaları) gibi geleneksel seramiklerin üretiminde yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. İnce tozlardan ve uygun bir sıvıdan oluşan çamur, mikro gözenekli bir kalıba (alçı kalıp veya reçine esaslı basınçlı- döküm kalıbı) dökülür. Reçine esaslı basınçlı döküm kalıp sisteminde sıvının kalıp kesitinden dışarıya kılcal olarak çekilmesi sonucu, kalıp içerisinde kısmen kurumuş kırılgan bir kabuk veya gövde elde edilir. Alçı kalıp sisteminde ise kabuğun istenilen kalınlığa ulaşması sonrası geri kalan çamur kalıptan geriye dökülür. Alçı kalıba çamur döküm işlemi Şekil 5’te görülmektedir
